Subject: Re: radical proposal

I think that I am in favor of using a tabbed dialog to handle the remaining
four aspects of our interface (specifying input files, specifying filters,
specifying processing steps, specifying output characteristics).

I have uploaded tab.tcl, an implementation of tabbed dialog boxes in tcl,
to my annonymous ftp directory on skypoint. You can use FTP to connect
to ftp.skypoint.com, cd to pub/members/e/escargo and get tab.tcl.

Once you have the source, you can run wish and then "source tab.tcl". It
will draw a cute little sample tabbed dialog box.

I think if we have a menu bar (because users will be familiar with it),
and the tabbed dialog, we should be able to make the interface accessible
and visible.
