Louisiana Lucious
I am from Louisiana and I do a
lot of cooking. We eat a lot of spices foods.
I thought I would do something a little different and share a recipe with you.
If any of you have a favorite one please share it with us. Have a great day.
Pam
Amounts are approximated. I seem to make it a little different everytime.
This will give you the ingredients and an idea of how much to use. You can
play with it to your own liking.
2 cans of tomatoes and green chili (Rotel with work, or you can buy the 14.5
cans generic)
1 small can of tomato sauce (8oz)
1/2 c. onions (or 1/2 of an onion)
1 tsp. salt
1 T. lemon juice
1 large handful of fresh cilantro
1-2 jalapenos
I've experimented with lots of different peppers, when I have had them. It
always turns out great. All I do is mix all these ingredients in a food
processor. A blender should work, but I'm not sure if it will hold it all as
easily. I hope you enjoy!
"FRIENDSHIP"
Take two heaping cups of patience, 1 heartful cup of love, two
handfuls of
generosity; add a dash of laughter and a full cup of understanding, 1/2 cup of
loyalty, mix well and sprinkle generously with kindness, spread this
irresistible delicacy over a lifetime and serve everybody you meet.

SERMONS WE SEE
I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day,
I'd rather one should walk with me than merely show the way.
The eye's a better pupil and more willing than the ear;
Fine counsel is confusing, but example's always clear;
And the best of all the preachers are the men who live their creeds,
For to see the good in action is what everybody needs.
I can soon learn how to do it if you'll let me see it done.
I can watch your hands in action, but your tongue too fast may run.
And the lectures you deliver may be very wise and true;
But I'd rather get my lesson by observing what to do.
For I may misunderstand you and the high advice you give,
But there's no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.

Angel's Food Chocolate Cake
A yummy receipe is an Angel's Food
chocolate cake, the filling and the
topping is the yummy part.
Melt 375gms chocolate (cooking) or chocolate melts, they are roundish big
drops. 1 small carton of whipping cream mixed into the melted chocolate.
Let it cool and it will thicken and then put some in the middle of two
layers or more and spread all over the cake.
