When one walks into a rib-joint, one does not expect plush Art-Deco decor, but one gets not only that at Rudolph's, but also the best cole slaw I have tasted. Their Pork Spareribs are not to be missed, done up sweet and smoky and served with fries and toast. Portions are generous enough to share and we split a full slab of ribs and a slice of cheesecake. Expect to pay $15.00 to 20.00 a plate.

And right they are, because Mayslack's specialty is a roast beef sandwich served au jous. The beef is marinated and braised in a garlic broth so subtle that you barely know it's there while you eat, but you can feel it with you the rest of the day. And if that's not enough, there is ample horseradish as well. Oh - and use silverware for this one: the meat is so juicy and piled so high that eating as a sandwich is impossible.
