Hi,

Just a reminder to keep things on course.

Walkthrough evaluations are due at next week's meeting.
This means the list of scenario steps (for each task)
and the corresponding analysis of potential problems.
Refer to TCUID, section 4.1 for a good example of what
to provide for this. You may want to answer each of
the 4 questions from TCUID for each scenario step of
each task individually and then compare notes later
when your group gets together. Remember to not only
identify problems, but also classify them and and
answer "why could this be problemmatic for the user?".
As a group, write down each interface problem, how it
was discovered, and how you plan to remedy it. (This
is described in the Week 7 section of the Course Project
handout.)

User testing should be done by or on Monday, Feb. 23,
in time for feedback discussion during the weekly group
meetings. This means you'll have to start making a plan
to meet up with your testers fairly soon. I've paired up
my 10 groups into 5 pairings of 2 groups each. Thus, you
are responsible for meeting up with your assigned group
and for scheduling testing times, etc. HW #3 (also due
next week) should help you get started.

I'll be emailing you individually as groups with your
assigned group and the email addresses of its members
for contact purposes.

Good luck,

Brent
