A first mail archive

If you point your browsers to http://www.skypoint.com/members/escargo/csci5110
you can see a mailbox converted to HTML pages with hypermail. That's the
good news.

The bad news is that I created this file using the binary compiled for
SunOS 4.1.2. My system at work is running SunOS 4.1.3 (or .4), so it
was compatible enough to run. When I downloaded the source
(look at http://www.eit.com/software/hypermail/hypermail.html), and tried
to build it on Linux, I got some warning errors (about pointers being used
as ints or something like that) and when I tried to execute it, it gave a
segment fault.

I don't know if that means that it's too much work to get it working
under Linux or not. Certainly it is not as wonderful as if it worked
right out of the can. The question now becomes, which is the least
amount of work: writing our own, debugging hypermail, getting
mhonarc to work.

With that thought, I'm going back to my scenarios.
